ADVOCACY

Andrew Sheard is an experienced advocate at the Examination and Opposition divisions and the Boards of Appeal of the European Patent Office. Advocacy, both written and oral, forms the core of his practice. In addition he offers advice and guidance in written proceedings as well as on the conduct of oral proceedings.

Although he does not offer a full patent prosecution service, he will assist in prosecution strategy for individual cases particularly when oral proceedings or oppositions are likely.

Mr Sheard also participates in multi-disciplinary litigation and arbitration teams in various jurisdictions.
